Watching the massive explosion caused by her supernatural power, Kitty couldn’t help but feel a glimmer of hope.

But the next second, as the vampire baron’s blood mist reappeared, she realized how naive her earlier thought had been.

After dropping Kitty onto a higher part of the warship, Hana flew off without another word.

Hearing this, Kitty—who had been worried about Sally—finally let out a sigh of relief.

She then picked up her bow and began providing covering fire for Anderson on the deck below.

Fighting against the formless blood mist of the vampire baron, even with occasional support from his teammates giving him brief moments to catch his breath, Anderson was under immense pressure. His stamina and focus were already pushed to their limits.

“How the hell do we kill this vampire?”

Realizing he couldn’t hold out much longer, Anderson grew anxious—so much so that he didn’t even notice his movements slowing as he dodged the blood mist.

“Anderson, watch out!”

Hearing Hana’s voice ring in his ears, Anderson finally realized the gravity of the situation as the blood mist surrounded him, cutting off all escape routes. In the next second, it would engulf him completely.

But even in this desperate situation, Anderson had no intention of going down without a fight.

With that, he pushed his supernatural power to its absolute limit. His entire body erupted in a blinding radiance—so bright that even the fleet, which had been retreating for some time, could see it from a distance.

After a moment of thought, General Allan Poe replied, “It must be him. He’s the only one in Alpha Team who fused with a Light Demon’s monster core.”

“A superhuman wouldn’t push their power this far unless it was a life-or-death situation. Either way, tell the engine room to speed up. If that vampire catches up, we’re in trouble.”

Just as Allan Poe withdrew his gaze and ordered James to relay the command, something in the night sky caught James’ attention.

His eyes widened in shock as he grabbed his superior’s arm.

“General, look! There’s someone in the sky!”

“Someone in the sky?”

Puzzled, Allan Poe looked up toward the western night sky.

Then, a breathtaking sight unfolded before him—a stunning Eastern beauty, clad in a flowing blue ancient-style dress with white thigh-high stockings, gliding through the air atop a golden spirit sword. She streaked past them, heading straight for Warship No. 246 in the east.

“General… is that woman one of our nation’s superhumans?”

Still awestruck by her beauty, James turned to Allan Poe and asked.

After a brief moment of recollection, Allan Poe shook his head.

“I don’t recall our country having such a beautiful superhuman.”

“So that’s the two-star Abyss monster up ahead? Seems pretty strong… I wonder how well it can handle fire?”

Gazing at the sinister aura emanating from the warship, Yan Qi—who had been delayed after saving ordinary citizens of the Lobster Kingdom to boost her reputation—mused to herself.

With her decision made, Yan Qi flashed onto the deck in an instant.

The sudden appearance of a stranger stunned all the superhumans on the ship—except for the half-conscious Sally.

Under the influence of her power, the blood mist violently contracted until the vampire baron’s true form was forced onto the deck.

Not giving it a chance to react, Yan Qi raised her spirit sword and dashed forward—slashing downward in a single, fluid motion.

The vampire baron was split cleanly in half, disintegrating into ashes. Only its monster core remained before vanishing entirely from the world.

Witnessing this unbelievable scene, every superhuman on the ship stood frozen in shock, each harboring their own thoughts.
