Hearing Bai Yuling’s words, Yan Qi, who had already promised to demonstrate her organization’s tracking techniques, nodded in response.

After saying this, Yan Qi took out a peculiar compass from her system’s built-in backpack.
Seeing the strange compass appear out of thin air in Yan Qi’s hand, Bai Yuling’s face couldn’t help but show a trace of surprise. After all, she had never seen anyone conjure something from nothing like that before.
“Just how did Miss Zige manage to do such a thing?”
Silently wondering this to herself, Bai Yuling noticed Yan Qi picking up the small glass bottle filled with blood that she had handed over. She decided not to dwell on it further, instead focusing all her attention on Yan Qi, afraid she might miss any part of the demonstration.
Unconcerned with what Bai Yuling was thinking, now that she had the peculiar compass and the small vial containing the blood of a Cult of the Blood Demon member, Yan Qi promptly began her operation based on the small amount of research she had done in her spare time a few days prior.
Yan Qi first opened the small glass vial to confirm the blood was usable, sensing the potent abyssal magic within. Then, she channeled the magical power cultivated by her main body to draw out the abyssal magic from the blood in the vial.
Seeing the eerie, fiery red abyssal magic appear above her fingertip, Yan Qi knew her first step was successful and quickly moved on to the next.
Under her control, the stream of fiery red abyssal magic flowed towards the peculiar compass held in her other hand, slowly washing away the previously recorded abyssal magic signature of the Flesh Flower stored within the compass.
After about ten minutes, confirming that the original Flesh Flower’s signature had been completely erased and replaced by the new one, Yan Qi promptly channeled her own magic power into the compass.
Then, unlike the single red dot from before, a scattering of small black dots quickly appeared on the compass face.
Seeing the small black dots displayed on the compass in her hand, Yan Qi knew her earlier hypothesis had been successful.
Excellent. By tracking them down one by one like this, I’ll soon find those damned members of the Cult of the Flame Demon.
Feeling quite pleased, she remembered she had an audience. Lifting her head, she said to Bai Yuling, who was sitting in her chair, “Alright, Director Bai, my tracking demonstration is complete.”
“Already finished? I didn’t really see anything conclusive,” replied Bai Yuling, who had been closely watching Yan Qi’s every move, sounding somewhat puzzled.
In response to Bai Yuling’s surprise, Yan Qi thought for a moment before stating confidently, “If you don’t believe me, Director Bai, you can send some people with me to the cultists’ hideout. I guarantee you won’t return empty-handed.”
Hearing the transformed Yan Qi—now in her ‘Virtual Diva’ form—say this, and even though this was their first meeting in this guise, Bai Yuling recalled the records in the Special Affairs Bureau’s files and their brief prior interaction. Knowing Yan Qi wasn’t one to make baseless claims, she quickly made a decision.
“Since you put it that way, Miss Zige, I will arrange for a team to accompany you immediately to raid the cultists’ hideout.”
“Thank you for your trust, Director Bai.”
Once the decision was made, Bai Yuling notified her subordinates at top speed. In no time, the most elite squad of the Fengfang City Special Affairs Bureau had assembled at the entrance.
Confirming the team was fully present, they quickly boarded their vehicles, taking their seats and awaiting orders from Bureau Director Bai Yuling.
“Now, Miss Zige, can you tell me the location of the Cult of the Flame Demon’s hideout?” Bai Yuling asked, turning at the entrance to address the more normal-looking of the two young women beside her.
“Of course. Right now, we’re about ten-plus kilometers from their location. Director Bai, you just need to lead the convoy following the route I just sent to you.”
“Sent me? When did you send me a photo?” Bai Yuling asked, somewhat surprised, as she wasn’t fully aware of the Virtual Diva’s capabilities.
But before Yan Qi could answer, Bai Yuling’s phone vibrated with a specific pattern. Feeling the vibration, Bai Yuling paused for a moment, then immediately connected it to what Yan Qi had just said.
She quickly pulled out her phone and saw the photo Yan Qi had sent using her ‘Jizige’ identity.
“Is the line you marked on this photo the route to the cult’s hideout?” Bai Yuling asked.
“Correct. That’s the route to their hideout,” Yan Qi replied in a tone full of confidence.
Hearing this, Bai Yuling glanced down at the photo on her phone. Without further doubt or unnecessary thoughts, she promptly said, “In that case, we should set off immediately without delay.”
“Alright.”
With that, the two women, plus Yan Qi’s duplicate, didn’t linger at the bureau entrance any longer. They got into the Bureau’s vehicles and sped off towards the location of the Cult of the Flame Demon’s hideout, following the route Yan Qi had mapped using the peculiar compass.

Just as Yan Qi, Bai Yuling, and the large contingent of Bureau members were heading towards the hideout, the three priests of the Cult of the Flame Demon, still unaware of the imminent disaster about to befall them, were speaking with a visitor.
This visitor was a member of the Necromancer Association, an overseas supernatural organization, who had just arrived at their hideout.
“Mr. Makar, welcome to our organization’s base in Fengfang City,” Priest Zhong said to the foreign youth named Makar standing before him, a welcoming smile on his face.
Hearing this, Makar, who knew he hadn’t come today just for small talk with these cultists, slightly furrowed his brow. He then looked directly at Priest Zhong, Priest Hua, and the youngest, Priest Li, and got straight to the point.
“Alright, Mr. Zhong. I haven’t come today merely for a visit. I’m here to ask if your organization is willing to enter into cooperation with our Necromancer Association.”
