Gender Swap: I’m About to Transform Using a Card! Chapter 34

“Wh-what kind of monster are you?!”

The paramedic stared at Yan Qi’s fox ears, his voice trembling with fear. To him, she looked just like the terrifying creatures from the earlier livestream—the ones with inhuman powers.

“Monster? If I were a monster, I wouldn’t be talking to you. I’d just eat you on the spot. Now move aside—you’re in the way of my healing.”

With an annoyed huff, Yan Qi hopped off her giant gourd and strode straight toward her parents, ignoring the paramedics who scrambled out of her path.

“Sorry for the delay, ma’am. I’ll treat your husband now.”

Without waiting for Li Caifeng’s response, Yan Qi set down her gourd, popped open the stopper, and activated one of her fox-loli abilities: Instant Cure.

A stream of shimmering, cool liquid floated out from the gourd and straight into Yan Zhenyi’s mouth.

The moment he swallowed it, an eerie green glow began radiating from his body.

“H-hey! What did you just give him?!”

The paramedic, though still wary, mustered his courage to ask.

“Medicine,” Yan Qi replied without turning around.

“Medicine?! Since when does medicine make people glow green?!”

“Ordinary medicine doesn’t—unless it’s laced with radioactive waste. But my medicine is infused with supernatural energy.”

“Supernatural energy?!” the paramedic muttered in disbelief.

But before he could question further, Yan Zhenyi’s burns began visibly healing—skin regenerating, scars vanishing. Within moments, his complexion looked even healthier than before.

“There. All fixed.”

Yan Qi smiled to herself, reassured by her fox-loli’s medical instincts that her father was now perfectly cured—no side effects.

Li Caifeng gaped, stunned by the miracle unfolding before her.

Meanwhile, Yan Zhenyi—who had passed out from the pain of his burns—slowly blinked his eyes open. His body felt lighter, freer than ever.

The first thing he saw was his wife’s tear-streaked face.

“Caifeng? Why are you crying?”

Still groggy, he sat up and gently wiped her cheeks.

“Honey… are you really okay? Does anything still hurt?”

“I feel fine. Better than fine. But you still haven’t answered me.”

Relief flooded Li Caifeng’s expression. With a choked sob, she threw her arms around him. “Thank goodness…”

“Hey, hey—why the tears? Did someone bully you?”

Watching her parents’ overly sweet reunion, Yan Qi fought back a gag. Ugh, too much PDA.

“Well, since Uncle’s all better now, my job here is done. See you around—maybe!”

Without waiting for a response, she grabbed her gourd, ready to fly off.

But the paramedic—having witnessed the impossible healing—suddenly called out:

“Wait, little miss!”

“What now?” Yan Qi turned, one eyebrow raised.

No longer afraid of her (and very much in awe), the paramedic hurriedly bowed.

“Could you… possibly use that medicine to treat the other injured people here?”

“Oh. Right. The other victims.”

In her haste to escape the lovey-dovey scene, Yan Qi had nearly forgotten the other wounded—including the injured supernatural agents.

“Might as well, I guess.”

She reopened her gourd, and this time, hundreds of glowing liquid strands floated out, entering the mouths of every injured person in the station.

As the green light shimmered over them, wounds closed, burns vanished, and even the most critical cases stabilized instantly.

“There. Happy?”

“Incredibly! Thank you so much!” The paramedic beamed. “By the way… what’s your name, little miss?”

Yan Qi paused, then grinned.

“Call me Little Hu Yao’er.”
