Soul Exchange: This School Beauty Isn’t So Cold Chapter 231

Su Mo initially thought the mustached uncle would step in to stop this “bullying” behavior. Who knew the man would simply choose to ignore it and even say, “What problem can’t be solved by a fight?”

Su Mo was stunned.

The Celestial Pride Camp gave him the feeling of a unique university, and the mustached uncle should count as a teacher, right?

Do they encourage fighting here?

Oh, right. This is a place specifically for training warriors. It would be ridiculous if fighting wasn’t allowed.

Ye Qingyi sneered beside him, “Playing pitiful is useless here. Fists are what matter.”

Su Mo put on an expression of having learned a valuable lesson.

Just then, two people approached, a man and a woman.

Su Mo recognized them—a pair of siblings he had trained with at the Beidou camp.

The brother, Li Tianke, was one of the top few in terms of cultivation and talent. The sister, Li Ruoxue, wasn’t bad either, though she was a bit too fond of playing clever tricks.

“Su Mo, what are you doing here? Who is she… It’s you!” Li Ruoxue exclaimed, a flash of displeasure crossing her face. Her little canine teeth made her look fiercely cute, like an angry kitten.

Great, another girl whose heart had been stolen by Ye Qingyi. He had sensed she had a bit of a crush on Ye Qingyi before, but she hadn’t dared to be too obvious about it because he was around.

Li Ruoxue originally wanted to confront Su Mo, but her brother grabbed her and pulled her back. “Stop causing trouble!”

Fuming, she could only vent her anger by punching Li Tianke’s arm a few times.

Li Tianke gave a helpless smile, his eyes overflowing with affection. “Xiaoxue, guess why my biceps are so well-developed?”

“Because I keep hitting them, huh!” she retorted, then turned and walked away, not wanting to stay near this “little hussy” who had kissed her crush.

Li Tianke looked embarrassed, waved at Ye Qingyi as a greeting, and then hurried after his sister. “Hey, Xiaoxue, where are you going? Wait for me.”

And just like that, the two left.

Ye Qingyi looked at Su Mo for a long moment before finally uttering, “Forget it, I won’t bother with you this time. Remember to be rational about chasing stars next time. Not everyone is as nice as I am.”

Having said that, she turned to leave. But after taking a few steps, she suddenly spun around and threw a palm strike towards Su Mo.

“Ah!” Su Mo was startled by her. He wanted to dodge but couldn’t. Anxious, his face flushed red.

However, Ye Qingyi’s hand stopped mid-air.

She scrutinized the young woman before her, a look of disappointment appearing on her face.

“I thought it was you?” she murmured as she left, words which Su Mo clearly heard.

This girl misses me!

Su Mo couldn’t help but break into a silly grin.

After completing the relevant procedures, Su Mo wandered aimlessly around the city streets. Starfall Island was highly developed, with a sizable city that probably housed a population of around a million.

Most residents here were immigrants, so you could encounter people of all skin colors and languages on the street.

Case in point: a Xia Country auntie was arguing with a foreign auntie, one using Chinese while fanning herself with a fan.

Neither could speak the other’s language, yet they seemed to understand each other’s meaning perfectly. Thus, this cross-linguistic shouting match was quite the back-and-forth spectacle.

Having nothing better to do, Su Mo stopped to watch the show.

Suddenly, a strange, fragrant aroma wafted past his nose. Just as Su Mo found it pleasant, his consciousness abruptly faded, and he fell to the ground with a thud.

The two arguing aunties were quick. Each grabbed one of Su Mo’s arms to support her. “Young lady, what’s wrong?”

“Did she have a sudden attack? Quick, check if she has any medicine on her.”

The two searched her and eventually found a white jade ring.

“How strange. Why wasn’t she wearing this ring?” The foreign auntie pocketed it.

The Xia Country auntie watched, jealous, but having found nothing else, she could only curse under her breath, “Not just a hussy, but a broke one too!”

Each supporting one side of Su Mo, they led her away. Many people on the street saw this but paid no mind.

Su Mo was taken to a hotel room. The two aunties exchanged a glance, revealing sinister smiles.

“Daring to kiss our little Momo? This little hussy has a death wish,” said the foreign auntie, speaking in fluent Chinese.

The Xia Country auntie patted Su Mo’s leg, secretly admiring it. “This hussy is average-looking, but her figure isn’t bad. We can ask for more money later.”

“But she’s from your own country, isn’t she?”

“So what? She dared to kiss my little Momo! I’ll make her pay the price!”

The two aunties nodded simultaneously, having reached an agreement.

Just then, Bang! Bang! Bang! Someone was rudely knocking on the door.

One auntie opened the door. Seeing a dark-skinned, muscular man over two meters tall standing there, she immediately fawned, “Boss Lei, this batch is top quality, you see… Could you give us a bit more…”

The man called Boss Lei impatiently snapped, “Stop wasting my time!”

But when his eyes fell on Su Mo lying on the bed, they lit up. “We can discuss it.”

The two aunties were overjoyed. They tactfully retreated, not forgetting to close the door behind them.

Outside the Hotel

Ye Qingyi looked at the hotel in front of her with a puzzled expression, muttering to herself, “Who on earth sent me those messages telling me to come here quickly? What for?”

She hadn’t really wanted to come, but the other party had sent over a dozen messages, so she felt obliged to check it out.

Suddenly, her phone received another new text, the sender’s information still blocked: Room 28, Fifth Floor.

Adopting a “well, I’m already here, might as well check it out” mindset, she entered the hotel and went up to the fifth floor, looking for Room 28.

As soon as she got off the elevator, she saw a tall, brawny black man entering one of the rooms, his demeanor rather lecherous.

Right after, she ran into the two aunties.

The two women stared blankly for a second, then cheered and came running over. “Little Momo! It’s Little Momo!!!”

Ye Qingyi felt a headache coming on. She was about to turn and run, but the elevator doors had already closed, and there was no other way out behind her. She had no choice but to brace herself and face them.

I’m a young man, why should I be afraid of them?

“Little Momo, give me an autograph!”

“I want to take a photo with you.”

The two immediately pulled out their phones and started snapping pictures incessantly. Ye Qingyi couldn’t escape, nor could he push past them.

“Next time, next time. I have something urgent to do today,” Ye Qingyi brushed them off casually.

Upon hearing this, the two women suddenly froze, thinking his “urgent matter” was related to the “little hussy” they had just captured. They immediately grew nervous. “Is that so? Well… next time then.”

The two made a quick getaway.

It wasn’t until the elevator doors opened and the two aunties nervously scurried inside that Ye Qingyi suddenly realized something. “Why were they so nervous? Could they be up to no good?”

Although Starfall Island was prosperous and rich in cultivation resources, its crime rate was quite high. Sometimes, a harmless-looking child passing by you could be the same person selling you into trafficking hours later.

Ye Qingyi wasn’t planning to meddle, and simply continued looking for Room 28.

When he finally found the place, he was surprised to realize it was the exact room the two aunties had just come out of.

Coincidence?

Probably not!

Judging from their nervous demeanor earlier, there was definitely something wrong with this room.

Just as he was hesitating about whether to enter, another anonymous text arrived on his phone, its content identical to the previous ones.

Ye Qingyi frowned, feeling this matter wasn’t simple.

He had just raised his hand to knock when he paused mid-air because the lock clicked, as if someone was opening it from the inside.

The next moment, the door was pushed open a crack, and a strong smell of blood immediately wafted out.

Ye Qingyi was just preparing to enter a combat stance when the door suddenly swung wide open. A petite figure instantly pounced on him, wrapping their arms tightly around his neck.

The other person was incredibly strong. With this tackle, both of them stumbled back into the room.

The other person smoothly closed the door with their foot. Ye Qingyi found himself firmly locked in place, struggling to break free.

It took Ye Qingyi immense effort to finally push the other person away, only to discover it was that girl who had kissed him before.

The other person quickly attached herself again, clingy like super glue, making it hard to shake her off.

Ye Qingyi was just about to draw his blade in defense when he heard the girl let out an extremely seductive gasp from her throat, “Qingyi, I’m so hot…”
