The Return of the Gender-Swapped Sage Chapter 78

The girl seemed utterly fearless, completely unbothered by the five muscular men, even though her companion was already having second thoughts and frantically signaling for her to calm down.

Unexpectedly, the slightly chubby girl grabbed her companion and pulled her up, dragging her into the mess as well.

The instructors immediately stepped in to control the situation, separating the two sides.

The muscular men didn’t say anything, but the chubby girl and her companion grew even more smug. Believing the men wouldn’t dare strike back, they started hurling taunts.

“What’s the use of all those muscles? I wouldn’t give guys like you the time of day, you bunch of losers,” the girl said, pointing and making remarks from behind the instructors, even shoving them.

An instructor who was blocking her pointed at her and said, “Watch your behavior! This is the Special Forces unit, not a place for you to cause trouble!”

“You dare point at me?! You’re disrespecting me! I’ll report you! I’ll have you fired immediately!” the plump girl persisted relentlessly, now turning her fire on the instructors.

Soon after, her companion joined the argument, wildly scratching with her manicured nails. Knowing the instructors were highly skilled and she wouldn’t actually hurt them, she let herself go without holding back.

‘They won’t get hurt anyway, I can make as much fuss as I want!’

So, one used her weight to push people, and the other used her nails as weapons, pushing the instructors to their limits.

Wang Wu, who had a short fuse, was itching to just knock the two troublemakers out cold. What was the point of reasoning with creatures like these? The others, afraid he might go too far, had to split their attention to restrain Wang Wu.

Seeing Wang Wu’s fierce expression, the two troublemaking girls grew somewhat nervous.

The plump girl quickly started wailing in a thick voice, “Veterans in the Special Forces are bullying newcomers!”

The girl with heavy makeup burst into tears, shouting, “Bullying girls? Are you even fit to be instructors?”

Seeing these two were still acting despicable, Wang Wu flew into a rage, yelling, “Let me go! Let me go!”

Seeing that Wang Wu was being held back, the plum girl continued her insults, “What are you being so fierce for? You have no respect for women at all! Hope your family line ends with you!”

When Old Wang heard this, his eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets, his whole body trembling like an enraged brown bear.

“Old Wang, calm down! It’ll be hard to explain if something happens!”

The heavily-made-up girl, seeing his reaction, sneered, “Hit a nerve, didn’t you? Serves you right!”

The other instructors glared at her fiercely, and only then did she shut her mouth.

Wang Wu gritted his teeth, snarling, “I risk my life on the front lines, not to protect scum like this! Let me go!”

On the other side of the lounge, Xue Ji’s group also witnessed the scene.

Shen Dai couldn’t stand the two girls’ behavior and wanted to go intervene, but Xia Jin pulled her back.

“What are you doing, Dai Dai? Don’t go over there,” Xia Jin said, holding her back.

“They’re going too far, I can’t stand it,” Shen Dai said. She was known for speaking up against injustice in her class, and she certainly wouldn’t tolerate people like this acting out here.

“Don’t go just yet. Getting involved with those people is a huge hassle,” Xia Jin said calmly, her expression unreadable behind her glasses.

Shen Dai couldn’t believe her friend would say that and struggled more fiercely, saying indignantly, “A-Jin, are you really that kind of person? I misjudged you…”

Before she could finish her sentence, Xue Ji stuffed a piece of bread into her mouth and walked alone towards the two troublemakers.

Xia Jin pulled Shen Dai back to her seat and said calmly, “Don’t misunderstand, Shen Dai-dai. The ‘people’ I’m talking about aren’t those two causing trouble.”

Since Xue Ji wanted to handle it herself, they shouldn’t let anyone else interfere.

‘Senior Xiao Xiao overthinks everything; we can’t let Shen Dai catch her attention.’

Chaya lay back down across both their laps, eating snacks, and said, “Such a small matter, yet you have to follow so many rules. Humans are so troublesome.”

Xue Ji’s appearance quieted the surroundings. Everyone was curious about what this harmless-looking little white-haired girl intended to do.

The instructors respectfully made way for her, which made the others wonder about the background of these two youngsters.

Xue Ji gestured for the people surrounding the two troublemaking girls to step aside. Wang Wu watched this scene with disdain.

The members of the muscle-bound family also shook their heads. The muscular girl, seeing this, looked down on Xue Ji even more.

‘Mediators, smoothing things over… it’s because there are too many people like you that these kinds of troublemakers get more and more arrogant.’

There were also some boos from the crowd.

“Our downfall will be at the hands of women…”

The two troublemaking girls, seeing Xue Ji seemingly siding with them, laughed smugly.

The plump girl said cheerfully, “Thank you, sis~”

The heavily-made-up girl chimed in, “Thanks, little sister. We support women supporting women~”

‘She’s so pretty and has reached such a position, she must be amazing~’

Hearing this, a wave of disgust washed over Xue Ji from head to toe, and her face darkened completely.

A faint current of energy began swirling around Xue Ji, and vast spiritual power gathered in her hands.

“You two lunatics! Take this! Charged-Up Punch!”

Xue Ji’s hands, carrying this spiritual power, slammed into the two of them, punching them unconscious and sending them spinning out of the lounge, where they crashed hard into the corridor.

The heavily-made-up girl passed out on the spot, while the slightly chubby girl struggled to get up.

“Do you know who I am? Believe me, I can make one call and have you removed!” she snarled, her hair disheveled, her figure stout, her fierce expression showing no concept of fear.

Hearing this, Xue Ji said to a nearby instructor, “Expel both of them. Also, make sure to properly ‘advise’ the people backing these two. Remember to document today’s incident in their files.”

“Received!”

A minute later, a phone call came through. The plump girl got into an argument with the person on the other end.

Then followed talk about depression, capitalism, society, and the like, which made everyone in the lounge laugh.

After she finished her call, fueled by some unknown courage, she pointed at Xue Ji, preparing to say something else.

Xue Ji’s left hand swung out in a slap that also jolted the heavily-made-up girl awake, then she dragged both of them in front of Wang Wu.

“Instructor Wang Wu, how would you like to deal with them?” Xue Ji asked.

Seeing Wang Wu’s still-dark expression, the two girls, fearing for their lives, immediately started kowtowing and apologizing profusely, tears and all.

Wang Wu looked Xue Ji over again and said, “I will absolutely not allow people like this to enter the Special Forces.”

“Mm.” Xue Ji nodded. With a flick of her hand from a distance, she sent a slap across their faces that twisted their features, knocked them unconscious, and left a bright red handprint.

Finally, two instructors tied the two up, loaded them onto a cart, and escorted them to the Special Forces tribunal.

Once everything settled down, the lounge erupted in cheers. The muscular girl suddenly hugged Xue Ji and lifted her high into the air.

“Ohhhhhhhhhh!”

After this incident, Xue Ji gained admiration within the City A Special Forces unit and successfully took over command of the City A forces.

After it was all over, Xue Ji sent a message to Ling Xiao Xiao.

Xue: “I hit two people who came for the assessment.”
Ling: “Then it must have been their fault.”
Xue: “You’re supposed to be a respected Guardian of China, can’t you be a bit more rational? (Sweating Emoji)”
Ling: “You are my rationality. I believe in you.”

Xue Ji had to admit, the line was a bit cheesy, and it did make her feel a little flustered.
